this is probably a stupid question, but does anyone know how to tell the difference between your tps and your iacv going bad, i know they both share simular symptoms like idle hopping, but my car also jerks real hard when im at 1/4 throttle between 1-2k rpms, can anyone give me an answer??

the jerky throttle response sounds TPS related, or if your ecu is reprogrammed, could be too much timing in the map at low rpms

^Agree, both are easy fixes....use a DMM and check the voltage on ur TPS no more than 4.5 volts at W.O.T. and just pull ur IACV off and clean with parts/brake cleaner.GL hope I helped
